RIDE TO BHUTAN   Two first edition Hero Honda CBZs, one KTM Duke 390, four eager travelers and plans to travel through the land of legends, happiness and the thunder dragon. Our journey began from Jalpaiguri. Having chosen the monsoon season for our trip, we were well prepared for a bit of rain and were not disappointed. Needless to say, the rain clouds added a fresher green to the tea estates of west Bengal. We were sure glad we packed our rain proof clothing and that all our gear and bags were waterproof.   We rode till the border town of Jaigaon before crossing over into Phuentsholing, the border town on the Bhutan side. It is a good idea to cross over into Phuentsholing well before 4:00 pm as that is when the immigration as well as the RSTC office closes for the day. Imagine, a diwali when all Indians spend all their "firecracker" budget on diyas and candles and string lights. Imagine a diwali where the competition is not about who's dad buys the loudest crackers, but about whose mum makes the most beautiful rangoli. seriously!!!

id like to think i am funny. even hilarious for that matter. humor, i believe, is often more about the disposition... so even though the world around me cracks me up like a party pooper, the little peices of shiny paper fall in an organised fashion.  basically...i think everything is funny. specially stuff that i do...its just that other people take it too seriously.  dont! what is wrong with u people! try and not let my frown and flaring nosetrills get to you... for the jester never dies...even as i hyperventilate...i, myself laugh at what i do.
