Love text and War
"know that ever about you stands the reality of love and each moment you have the power to transform your world by what you have learned."
To have love as the crowning power. The eventual influence that one believes in, to have a manuscript aimed only at the inner self; about loving the inner self.
Passages and couplets, poems and verses, about the kindness, the virtues, of respect and selflessness.
"No words of ritual, no directions for worship, no calling down fire and destruction on enemies, no disasters for non-believers, no cruel gods. No mention of temples, priests or rabbis or congregations or choirs or costumes or holy days."
The only deity would be the soul, the creator in each of us. the method of worship; meditation.
An immense belief in the power of intuition. A never ending pursuit for inspiration.
If such an idea could be put across to people worldwide, if they could only find it in themselves to believe. No more civil wars, discrimination, no more darkness and negativity.
Our spirit knows no lies. Its purity would see the significance of such a manuscript and the text would be loved.
Yet, what would such a document be called? it would have to be named and THAT would be the start to the end of freedom from religion.
A process would commence. The text would further need to be safeguarded. So no one could edit it, change what they do not understand or delete what they please.
Who would be the one to decide how the words are interpreted? The person who creates or discovers it? He/She would then become the keeper and hence, would witness the start of a new priesthood.
"Those who give their lives to protect an order of thinking become the priests of that order."
The "order" here being love and freedom.
But as light diminishes darkness, love and freedom would be the recourse from fear and slavery.
Those who gain from fear and slavery, would they too willingly adopt the text?
Wouldn't the priest and his friends (the other "believers") then fight to protect the manuscript?
If the profiteers of fear and slavery are powerful leaders, and their numbers are ever amplifying. How could the message of love be protected?
The priest could try and escape with the pages but what if he/she was caught and cornered? Would he protest for the sake of his belief? wouldn't he put his own life at risk for his ideals?
And thus would actualize the wars!
Armies, bombs, jets and ships and fire and blood in the streets. These would not be humble wars. Thousands of true believers in love and freedom will come out and stand up. Tens of thousands, swift and strong and smart. But their ideals would have many opponents. The rulers of every nation and organization that keeps its power through fear and darkness.
The defenders of love would need a sign. A symbol so they could be distinguished and remembered among the swarming tides of humans designing to destroy each other for their individual beliefs.
The sign of the cross and the crescent shall see the sign of love fluttering on the flag of freedom and they will join their forces.
Along with all the other enemies of the manuscript, their armies shall swell and flood in from all directions. There would be murders. Unavoidable and unintentional. For each person killed by either side, the "message" shall be further stained. The inspiration long forgotten.
Hundreds more would hate the text now. for each dead soldier, their fathers, mothers, wives and children and loved ones will curse the pages.
Hatred shall prevail. Between each believer of love and every christian, moslem and hindu and all others. Each one holding onto their man-made identities more than ever before.
More shrines, temples, cathedrals and spires shall rise up. New superstitions and limits. Bells, symbols, rules, chants, ceremonies, prayers, vestments, incense and offerings.
Love shall turn into gold. Riches, the only surviving motivation.Riches to build greater institutions to convert the non-believers.
What would happen when the first "keeper" dies?
Towering statues, grand frescoes, paintings, all efforts to turn him/her immortal.
The manuscript would have brought in another mighty religion, another priesthood, another US and another THEM.
It should be burnt then, at the very beginning, before it can be revealed to the world, by its finder. Because would the world be able to handle more war? Shouldn't it be saved from yet another religion?
and love and freedom?
True spirits around the world, shall discover their own text. Virtues that could not be preched. Only found and loved.
PS: thank you Richard Bach for "One". the reference and inspiration.
